Le King is Le Bandit with jackpots. Released by Hacksaw Gaming on 26 June 2025, it puts Smokey in a neon Las Vegas setting on the same 6×5 cluster grid, keeps the Golden Squares engine, and adds four fixed Jackpot Markers worth 10x, 100x, 1,000x and 20,000x the stake. A Neon Rainbow activates both the Golden Squares and any Jackpot Markers on the grid. RTP is 96.14% in the top version (also 94.18%, 92.25% and 88.25%), volatility is 3/5, and the max win is 20,000x, double Le Bandit's cap.

This information covers how the Jackpot Markers pay, what each of the three bonus games changes, what the Buy menu costs and how Le King differs from the original.
Le King characteristics
The grid and engine are familiar; the jackpot layer and the higher ceiling are new.

Le King summary
Le King plays exactly like Le Bandit until a Neon Rainbow lands. Clusters pay and clear, winning positions become Golden Squares, and the Rainbow turns them into Coins, Clovers and collectors. The difference is the extra prize hidden in that reveal: a Golden Square can also turn into a Jackpot Marker, and Markers can land directly on the reels too.

That gives every Neon Rainbow two jobs. It pays the coin-and-collector sequence as usual, and it switches on any Jackpot Marker present. A Max Win Marker with a Rainbow beside it ends the chase at 20,000x in one event, which is why the base game in Le King carries more tension than in the original.
Theme, design and sound
Smokey becomes an Elvis-style performer in Spin City, a neon Las Vegas parody. Roulette wheels, poker chips, microphones and watermelons fill the premium slots, and the bonus rounds borrow casino names: Spin City, Jackpot of Gold and Viva Le Bandit.
The interface is Hacksaw's portrait-first layout. The jackpot layer is clearly flagged on screen, so a Marker landing without a Rainbow is immediately visible, which is either thrilling or frustrating depending on how the spin ends.
RTP, volatility and max win
Hacksaw supplies four RTP versions: 96.14%, 94.18%, 92.25% and 88.25%. Over 1,000 spins at €1, the theoretical gap between the top and bottom versions is 1,000 × €1 × (96.14% − 88.25%) ≈ €78.90. The info screen shows the version your casino runs.

Volatility is 3/5 and the hit frequency is 41.33%, so small cluster wins arrive on roughly two spins in five. The max win is 20,000x, which equals the Max Win Jackpot Marker.
How to play Le King
A spin follows the Le Bandit order, with one extra check at the end.
- Set the stake from €0.10 to €100.
- Spin. Five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically pay and clear.
- Golden Squares. Winning positions are highlighted.
- Neon Rainbow. If one is present, the squares reveal Coins, Clovers, Treasure Pots or Jackpot Markers and the sequence pays.
- Jackpot check. Any Jackpot Marker on the grid pays if a Neon Rainbow is there too.
Le King symbols and what they do
Regular symbols pay for clusters of 5 or more; premiums pay from about 0.3x to 1x for five and up to 25x for 12+ on the top symbol. Coin and jackpot values are multiples of the total stake.
| Symbol | Name | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Roulette Wheel | Premium | Top-paying regular symbol, up to 25x for a 12+ cluster. |
![]() | Poker Chips, Microphone, Watermelon | Premium | Vegas-themed premiums, paying less than the wheel. |
![]() | A, K, Q, J, 10 | Low | Card royals, from 0.1x for five. |
![]() | Wild | Special | Substitutes for regular symbols to complete clusters. |
![]() | Neon Rainbow | Special | Activates every Golden Square after wins are collected, and switches on any Jackpot Marker on the grid. |
![]() | FS symbol | Special | 3, 4 or 5 start Spin City, Jackpot of Gold or Viva Le Bandit. |
![]() | Bronze, Silver, Gold Coins | Revealed | Instant prizes from 0.2x up to 500x. |
![]() | Green and Gold Clover | Revealed | Green multiplies adjacent Coins and Treasure Pots by x2 to x20; Gold multiplies all of them. |
![]() | Treasure Pot | Revealed | Collects all Coins and other Pots in view and stores the total. Does not collect Jackpot Markers. |
![]() | Jackpot Marker | Jackpot | Mini 10x, Major 100x, Mega 1,000x or Max Win 20,000x. Pays only with a Neon Rainbow; one of each can show at a time. |
Jackpot Markers
Jackpot Markers can land during a spin or appear from a Golden Square. A Marker only pays when a Neon Rainbow is on the grid with it. Only one of each Marker can show at a time, and when several activate together their prizes combine. These are fixed jackpots, not progressive or network pools. Here is what they mean in cash:
| Jackpot | x stake | At €0.50 | At €2.00 | At €10.00 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mini | 10x | €5 | €20 | €100 |
| Major | 100x | €50 | €200 | €1,000 |
| Mega | 1,000x | €500 | €2,000 | €10,000 |
| Max Win | 20,000x | €10,000 | €40,000 | €200,000 |
The Max Win Marker equals the game's cap, so it is a direct route to 20,000x rather than a bonus on top of it. A Mini, Major and Mega on the same Rainbow spin combine to 1,110x.
Le King bonus games
Three or more FS symbols landing together trigger one of three bonus games. Like Le Bandit's rounds, they differ in how long Golden Squares survive.
Spin City (3 FS)
10 free spins where Golden Squares stay highlighted until a Neon Rainbow activates them. Two FS during the round add 2 spins, three add 4.
Jackpot of Gold (4 FS)
10 free spins where Golden Squares stay highlighted even after activation, so every new Neon Rainbow pays the whole grid built so far, Jackpot Markers included.
Viva Le Bandit (5 FS)
The Hidden Epic Bonus. A Neon Rainbow lands on every spin, and revealed Coins are always Silver or Gold. It combines the most activations with the highest coin floor, and it is the round where the jackpot layer is most likely to fire.
| Round | Trigger | Golden Squares | Neon Rainbow | Buyable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spin City | 3 FS | Kept until activated | Random | Yes, 80x |
| Jackpot of Gold | 4 FS | Kept after activation | Random | Yes, 250x |
| Viva Le Bandit | 5 FS | Kept after activation | Every spin | No |
Can you buy the bonus in Le King?
Where permitted by market rules, Le King offers four Buy options. Prices are multiples of the current bet.
| Option | Cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ | 3x per spin | Each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game |
| Shamrock & Roll FeatureSpins™ | 60x per spin | At least one win and a Neon Rainbow on every spin |
| Spin City | 80x | 10 free spins, Golden Squares kept until activated |
| Jackpot of Gold | 250x | 10 free spins, Golden Squares kept even after activation |
Viva Le Bandit is not on the menu. Shamrock & Roll is a repeating cost: five spins at 60x is 300x, more than a Jackpot of Gold buy.
Le King demo vs real money
Hacksaw's Le King page has a "Try it" button, and many casinos host the same demo. It is a good place to see how often Markers land without a Rainbow before you chase them with money.
| Demo | Real money | |
|---|---|---|
| Balance | Virtual credits | Your deposited funds |
| Jackpots | Pay virtual credits | Pay real money at your stake |
| RTP version | Whatever the host loads | Set by the casino |
| Best use | Learning the Rainbow and Marker rules | Playing with a set budget |
Le King on mobile
Le King runs in mobile browsers on iOS and Android with no download. The portrait layout keeps Golden Squares and Jackpot Markers readable at phone size.
How to approach a Le King session
The jackpot layer is tempting, so a few rules help keep it in proportion.
- Check the RTP version. 96.14% is the top; 88.25% is the bottom.
- Choose a stake for the base game. Jackpots scale with the bet, but so does every losing spin; at a €100 budget, €0.20 to €0.50 a spin leaves room for the bonus rounds.
- Treat Shamrock & Roll as a per-spin price. It guarantees a Rainbow, not a jackpot.
- A Marker without a Rainbow is not "due". Every spin is independent and random.
Pros and cons
Le King's strengths come from the jackpot layer on a proven engine.
- Clear top prize - four fixed jackpots up to 20,000x.
- Busy base game - 41.33% hit frequency and Markers that can land on any spin.
- Strong top round - Viva Le Bandit with a Rainbow every spin and Silver/Gold Coins only.
The trade-offs:
- Rainbow dependency - a Max Win Marker with no Neon Rainbow pays nothing.
- Top round not buyable - Viva Le Bandit needs five scatters.
- Wide RTP spread - down to 88.25%.
Who Le King suits
Le King suits players who like Le Bandit's engine and want a clear top prize to chase. Players who find jackpot chasing frustrating may prefer Le Bandit. Le Bunny is an Easter-themed game built on the same jackpot structure with a €50 stake ceiling.
