Le Zeus is the "Le" game without Golden Squares. Released by Hacksaw Gaming on 11 September 2025, it sends Smokey to Mount Olympus on a 6×5 grid with 19 paylines, and builds everything around Mystery symbols that land on reels 2 to 5. They reveal high-paying symbols, Wilds or Mystery Reels; wins with revealed symbols trigger sticky respins, and Mystery Reels open a coin-and-collector layer with Coins, Diamonds, Clovers and Pots of Gold. RTP is 96.26% in the top version, volatility is 3/5, and the max win is 20,000x.

This information covers how the Mystery Reveal works, the paytable, the three bonus games and the Mystery Meter, the Buy menu and how Le Zeus differs from the rest of the series.

Le Zeus summary
Most "Le" games make you wait for an activator: a Rainbow, or a Wild in a winning cluster. Le Zeus puts the trigger on the reels themselves. Mystery symbols drop in vertical stacks on the middle four reels and open together, and what they become decides the spin. If they become high-paying symbols or Wilds, they can build line wins and set off sticky respins. If they become Mystery Reels, the spin switches to the coin layer.

The free spins all revolve around keeping more Mystery symbols on the grid for longer, from sticky Mystery symbols in Bolt & Run to a meter that fills the whole grid in Myth-Taken Identity and a top round that starts with four reels already covered.
Theme, design and sound
Smokey plays Zeus, armed with lightning, on Mount Olympus. Greek armour, artefacts and letters fill the reels, and the bonus names lean into the joke: Bolt & Run, Myth-Taken Identity and Gods Just Wanna Have Fun.

The Mystery stacks are the clearest visual cue in the game: when they land you know something is about to change, and the meter in Myth-Taken Identity shows how close the next full-grid spin is.
RTP, volatility and max win
The top RTP is 96.26%. Casinos can run lower versions, such as 94.18%, and the info screen shows which is active. Volatility is 3/5, and the base game lands a win on about 36% of spins. The max win is 20,000x:
| Stake | Max win (20,000x) |
|---|---|
| €0.10 | €2,000 |
| €1.00 | €20,000 |
| €10.00 | €200,000 |
| €100.00 | €2,000,000 |
How to play Le Zeus
A spin with Mystery symbols follows this order.
- Set the stake from €0.10 to €100.
- Spin. Wins pay on 19 fixed paylines, 3 or more from the left.
- Mystery symbols land in vertical stacks on reels 2 to 5 and open.
- Sticky respins. Wins with revealed symbols stick and respin until no new wins land or a Mystery Reel appears.
- Mystery Reels reveal Coins, Diamonds, Clovers or Pots of Gold, which are multiplied, collected and paid.
Le Zeus paytable
Line wins are multiples of the total stake. The table groups symbols that share the same payouts; exact amounts at your stake are in the in-game paytable.
| Symbol | Group | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Wild | - | - | - | 200x |
![]() | Top premium | 3x | 10x | 20x | 100x |
![]() | Second premium | see paytable | 5x | 10x | 50x |
![]() | Two mid premiums | 1x | 2x | 4x | 10x |
![]() | Two lower premiums | 0.5x | 1x | 2x | 5x |
![]() | Four Greek-letter lows | 0.1x | 0.3x | 1x | 3x |
The Wild is the best-paying symbol on a line, at 200x for six, which makes Mystery stacks that open as Wilds the most valuable line outcome.
Le Zeus special symbols and what they do
These symbols drive the Mystery Reveal and the coin layer. Coin values are multiples of the total stake.
| Symbol | Name | What it does |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Mystery symbol | Lands vertically on reels 2-5 and reveals high-paying symbols, Wilds or Mystery Reels. |
![]() | Mystery Reel | Reveals Coins, Diamonds, Clovers or Pots of Gold, and ends the sticky respins. |
![]() | Bronze, Silver, Gold Coins | Bronze 0.2x-4x, Silver 5x-20x, Gold from 25x. |
![]() | Diamond | 150x, 250x or 500x. |
![]() | Green and Gold Clover | Green multiplies adjacent Coins and Pots by x2 to x20; Gold applies to the whole grid. |
![]() | Pot of Gold | Collects every Coin and Diamond into one total, which is then paid. |
![]() | FS symbol | 3, 4 or 5 start Bolt & Run, Myth-Taken Identity or Gods Just Wanna Have Fun. |
Worked example (illustrative values). A Mystery stack opens as a Mystery Reel and reveals a Silver 10x, a Gold 25x, a Green Clover next to the Gold showing x4 and a Pot of Gold. The Gold becomes 100x, and the Pot collects 10x + 100x = 110x, or €11 at a €0.10 stake.
Le Zeus bonus games
All three bonus games award 8 free spins. They differ in how many Mystery symbols are on the grid and how long they stay.
Bolt & Run (3 FS)
Sticky Mystery symbols: each one that lands stays put, so the grid fills up over the round and later spins carry more Mystery positions than early ones. Coins in this round are worth at least 1x.
Myth-Taken Identity (4 FS)
Adds a Mystery Meter outside the grid. Each Mystery symbol that lands fills it, and 25 trigger a reward spin with a full grid of Mystery symbols. The minimum Coin type rises with each reward spin, so a round that fills the meter several times gets progressively richer reward spins. The meter can also award additional spins.
Gods Just Wanna Have Fun (5 FS)
The top round: sticky Mystery symbols, with reels 2 to 5 covered in Mystery symbols from the first spin, no low-paying symbols, and Coins worth at least 5x. Starting with that much of the grid loaded is what makes it the main route to 20,000x.
| Round | Trigger | Spins | What sets it apart | Buyable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bolt & Run | 3 FS | 8 | Sticky Mystery symbols, Coins from 1x | Yes, 80x |
| Myth-Taken Identity | 4 FS | 8 | Mystery Meter (25), full-grid reward spins, rising minimum Coin | Yes, 300x |
| Gods Just Wanna Have Fun | 5 FS | 8 | Reels 2-5 Mystery from the start, no lows, Coins from 5x | No |
Can you buy the bonus in Le Zeus?

How to approach a Le Zeus session
A few points are specific to this game.
- Check the RTP version in the info screen; 96.26% is the top.
- Expect quieter stretches. About 36% of spins win, a little below the cluster games in the series.
- Count God Mode as a per-spin cost. Six spins at 50x cost as much as a Myth-Taken Identity buy.
Every spin is random; no staking plan changes the RTP.
Pros and cons
Le Zeus's strengths come from its new engine.
- Fresh mechanic - Mystery Reveal instead of another Golden Squares variant.
- Mystery Meter - full-grid reward spins with a rising Coin floor.
- 20,000x ceiling with a €100 maximum stake.
The trade-offs:
- Lower hit rate - about 36% of spins.
- Expensive top buy - 300x for Myth-Taken Identity.
- Top round not buyable - Gods Just Wanna Have Fun needs five scatters.
Who Le Zeus suits
Le Zeus suits players who like the "Le" characters but want something different from Golden Squares, and players who prefer paylines to clusters. If you want the Golden Squares engine on paylines, compare it with Le Pharaoh; for the cluster original, see Le Bandit.
